How to add your first card

There are two ways to add a card to your collection: scanning with your camera or searching manually.

Option 1: Scan a card (recommended)

1. Tap the + Add Cards button or the Scan button
2. Point your camera at the front of the card
3. Cubbby's AI will identify the card and show you ranked matches. Select the correct one
4. Review the details (year, set, grade, value) and tap Add to Collection

Tip: You can also capture the back of the card for more accurate identification. After the front photo, you'll see an option to add a back image.

Option 2: Add manually

1. Tap + Add Cards from your inventory or dashboard
2. Select Search instead of scanning
3. Type the player name, year, or set name
4. Browse the results and select the correct card
5. Set the grade, purchase price, and binder (optional)
6. Tap Save

After adding

Your card appears in your inventory and contributes to your total portfolio value immediately. If Cubbby found a live market price, you'll see it on the card detail page along with recent sale prices.

New user bonus

When you first sign up, you get 7 days of free access where you can scan, upload, add cards, edit, and organize freely. After the trial ends, your inventory stays visible but editing and adding are locked until you upgrade to Collector.
